Arkansas 67, Stephen F. Austin 51

At Bud Walton Arena, Arkansas walked on to the court with cheers all around them. Those cheers were repeated at the end of the game. The Razorbacks' new star Micheal Washington had his 3rd straight double-double, with five this season. Washington played a huge role in the two runs that the Razorbacks made. In the second run has scored 6 out of 14 points. The Razorbacks' next game is against Northwestern St. on Saturday.

UALR 65, Arkansas St. 59

Saturday night, UALR went into the Jack Stephens Center looking for a win, and they found one! Arkansas St. was holding on in the first half with a 20-21 score, and kept doing it until the Trojans gained their biggest lead of the night, 52-47. The Trojans held onto that lead until the end of the game. The Trojans out rebounded the Red Wolves, 44-34. The scoring leader for UALR was Matt Mouzy, with 12 points and 2 threes. The scoring leader for Arkansas St. is Donald Boone with 16 points and 3 threes.

Red Wolves 61, Florda-International 41

Arkansas State opened conference play Thursday night with a win over Florida-International 61-41. The Red Wolves played extremely well on defense only allowing 21 points in the first half and 20 in the second. The defense also forced 20 turnovers including 13 steals. Arkansas State's next game is at UALR in Little Rock.

Razorbacks 89, Austin Peay 80

The Razorbacks won their 7th game of the season Wednesday at Bud Walton Arena. The win stretched the Hogs non-conference home win streak to 39. The win also put the Razorbacks 2nd in the SEC and in the SEC West. The team they are trailing is LSU who is 8-0 at the time. The Razorbacks are 29-12 under head coach John Pelphrey.
