Arkansas schedules Oklahoma and Texas

Although the Arkansas' complete non-conference schedule will not be released until August or September, Arkansas coach, John Pelphrey, say that the Hogs will play Oklahoma in Norman, Okla., and Texas at home next year. Arkansas will finish the current series with Texas in 2010 in Austin. Oklahoma also owes Arkansas a home game in 2010.

Arkansas loses to Flordia in SEC Tournament

Mike Washington had a double-double, although the Gators beat Arkansas 73-58. Mike Washington lead the Hogs in both points, 15, and rebounds, 18. Courtney Fortson scored 9 points, 3 rebounds in the loss. The Hogs shot 42% from the field and 88% from the line. Nick Calathes scored
11 points for Florida.

Arkansas loses again in OT

Arkansas blew a 9 point halftime lead Wednesday night for a 98-91 loss to Ole Miss. Courtney Fortson had a double-double with 18 points, 13 rebounds, and 5 assists. Roteni Clark had 19 points and Micheal Washington had 16. Arkansas will finish the season on Saturday at Vanderbilt. The game will be televised by Raycom Sports on Channel 7.

Arkansas 89, Georgia 67

Ronde Clarke lead the Razorbacks to their second win of SEC play Sunday with 19 points, including 4 threes. Micheal Washington had 17 points and 13 rebounds. On Sunday, not only did the Razorbacks win, but the Razorbacks celebrated a 15 year National Championship reunion. Thompkins led the Bulldogs with 20 points and 8 rebounds. The Razorbacks next game is against Ole Miss in Fayetville.

Arkansas 8, W. Illinois 7

The Razorbacks won their 3rd extra inning game of the season on Friday. The game ended with a triple by Brett Eibner. Eibner has been in a batting slump this season. That, he broke out of Friday. Eibner had 3 at bats, 2 hits, 2 runs, and a RBI. The Razorbacks will continue the series against Western Illinois on Saturday at Baum Stadium.

Arkansas Baseball wins a thriller over Kansas

Kansas (2-3) came into Baum Stadium Wednesday looking for a sweep over the Razorbacks, Jacob House came into the game to stop it. House had two at-bats as a pinch hitter in the game. The first, when the Razorbacks were down 7-5 in the eighth inning. There were two men on base. House hit a hopper down the first base line. The ball hopped over the first baseman and into right field for a RBI. The run was the first of three that inning. House's second at bat came in the tenth inning. The score was tied at eight. Jayhawk Pitcher Travis Blankenship threw the pitch, and House hit it into the visitor's bullpen to win the game, 9-8.

Arkansas can't hold on in OT

Arkansas had hope that they could win this game, but all of that hope failed in OT after they were outscored 16-12 by the S. Carolina Gamecocks. The Razorbacks dropped to 13-12 overall and 1-11 in conference. Arkansas Forward, Jason Henry
led the game with 27 points and 12 rebounds. Micheal Washington grabbed his way to a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds. Arkansas' next game is non-televised at Alabama.

Arkansas 67, Stephen F. Austin 51

At Bud Walton Arena, Arkansas walked on to the court with cheers all around them. Those cheers were repeated at the end of the game. The Razorbacks' new star Micheal Washington had his 3rd straight double-double, with five this season. Washington played a huge role in the two runs that the Razorbacks made. In the second run has scored 6 out of 14 points. The Razorbacks' next game is against Northwestern St. on Saturday.

Razorbacks 89, Austin Peay 80

The Razorbacks won their 7th game of the season Wednesday at Bud Walton Arena. The win stretched the Hogs non-conference home win streak to 39. The win also put the Razorbacks 2nd in the SEC and in the SEC West. The team they are trailing is LSU who is 8-0 at the time. The Razorbacks are 29-12 under head coach John Pelphrey.
