Razorbacks star QB Ryan Mallet passed for 271 yards and 4 touchdowns in Cowboy Stadium(aka. Razorback Stadium-West). The Razorbacks defense improved greatly since the Razorbacks 35-7 loss to Alabama last Saturday, only allowing 19 points to the Aggies. It was all over at War Memorial when Dennis Johnson returned the opening kick for a touchdown. Arkansas also set a school record with a total of 447 passing yards, with Ryan Mallet completing 17 of his 22 passes for 309 yards and a touchdown, and backup quarterback Tyler Wilson completing 13 of his 19 passes for 138 yards and a touchdown. Senior London Crawford caught 2 passes for 44 yards before hurting his shoulder in the 3rd quarter. They kept that lead in the second half and won their fifth National Championship, second in five years. Ty Lawson led the Tar Heels with 21 points, 6 assists and 8 steals, after leaving for the first round because of a toe injury. The Trojans advanced to the semi-finals of the Sun Belt Tournament. John Fowler won the game with 44 seconds left with a 3-pointer to give the Trojans their first lead of the half, 58-55. The Pioneers then shot the ball with 6 seconds left, missed, and UALR got the rebound. The Pioneers sent the Trojans to the line with 6 seconds left, and missed the free-throw. Denver got the rebound and dribbled to mid-court and shot. The ball hit the rim and bounced off for a Trojans win. The Trojans will face the winner of Troy and So. House had two at-bats as a pinch hitter in the game. The first, when the Razorbacks were down 7-5 in the eighth inning. There were two men on base. House hit a hopper down the first base line. The ball hopped over the first baseman and into right field for a RBI. The run was the first of three that inning. House's second at bat came in the tenth inning. The score was tied at eight. Providence ended a 2 game losing streak with this win. Providence came out in the 1st half on fire and led 44-26 at halftime.
